“Kitties in the City” Free Spay & Neuter Clinic

We are excited to announce that we will be running a free “Kitties in the City” Spay and Neuter Clinic. The event will be held on June 12, 2021 from 8am to 2pm. Thanks to the generosity of our partners, we will be able to provide a variety of vital services for South Jersey cats.

NJ Aid for Animals:  providing free flea and tick treatments
Midwest Veterinary Supply: donated medical supplies
Merck: provided rabies vaccines
Amazon: donated tons of cat food (literally) for distribution through this event

“This is kitten season, the time of year when we find our shelter filled with kittens who need homes. This event is to help curb that influx and give care to the cats who need it most. The ability to do so for free is a true blessing provided by our sponsors,” says Jill Rawlins, Executive Director of Homeward Bound. “Coming into the community to provide much-needed medical care is one of the things Homeward Bound is most proud to be able to do.”

No appointment is necessary for Camden & Gloucester City residents. The event will take place at 400 North Ninth Street, Camden, NJ 08102.

TNR cats will be accepted. However, there is a limit of TWO cats per person. All TNRs must pre-register by June 8th. Registrations are being accepted by telephone at (856)401-1300 x106.
