Seniors for Seniors

Seniors for Seniors is a fee-waived pet adoption program. It is sponsored by the Camden County Board of Freeholders and allows a waived adoption fee for a Senior (aged 60 years and older) adopting a senior shelter pet. A pet is classified as a “senior” over the age of seven. It is more difficult to find homes for senior pets than younger pets, kittens and puppies in particular. What better way is there to provide special companionship to both seniors in our community and senior pets in our shelter?

All of our pets go home spayed/neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations and microchipped. Additional costs may include tags, collar and/or leash, and crate or carrier.
