Volunteer with Us

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with us! Your service is vital to the daily care for our animals. By volunteering with us, you are joining a wonderful volunteer team that help us with fundraising events, walking dogs, satellite adoption centers and much more! We have many opportunities that may fit your interests.

Volunteers must be at least 18 years old. Opportunities are available for parent and child volunteer teams, the child must be a minimum of 13 years of age and accompanied by a legal guardian at all times. Click here for our Junior Volunteer Opportunities.

To become a volunteer with us, the next step is to attend an orientation! Volunteer orientations are typically held on Saturday mornings.  For more information about volunteering or to sign up for an orientation, please e-mail our Volunteer Coordinator at volunteer@homewardboundnj.org
